Attention all soccer fans: G-O-O-O-O-O-A-L! Soccer Championship is back for 2010! Last year, over 100 players participated in the tournament, raising over $18,000 in its sophomore season! This recreational, co-ed soccer tournament will provide an opportunity for Toronto Rehab staff and their friends and family to lace-up their boots while raising funds for the annual Giving Together Campaign. Games will take place Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. from July 7th to September 1st at the Eugene Melnyk Sports Field, St. Michael's College School. This year's fundraising goal of $20,000 will directly benefit specific Toronto Rehab programs selected by each soccer team - in fact support is already underway, with over $3,200 raised online to-date! Please consider participating as a player, supporter, or club president - register and donate today at http://www.scoreagoal.ca/.
Fundraising Breakfast Surpasses Goal to Raise Over $45,000
The Giving Together Staff Campaign provides an opportunity for the staff of Toronto Rehab to show our commitment and dedication to the improvement of our community and the Greater Toronto Area at large. In 2009, we raised close to $85,000! The money raised will be used to purchase Patient Education Resources; Seating for the Geriatric Program In-Patient Service Lounge; Outdoor Garden Furniture for the Lakeside Long Term Care Garden; and a Therapeutic Recreation Treatment Room for the Spinal Cord Injury Program. We are pleased to share with our donors that Toronto Rehab is championed by the generosity of the employees who work here - thank you for your support!
