Recovery requires more than compassion – the right equipment is crucial. With your support, the Toronto Rehab Foundation can raise money for equipment not funded by government.

Equipment giftToronto Rehab is committed to ensuring that each and every patient has access to the best type of rehabilitation equipment for their condition – and that they have access to it when they need it. That’s why we need your help.

Donations to Toronto Rehab Foundation can provide:
  • Rehabilitation equipment for patients recovering from a stroke or brain injury – for example, interactive electronic systems with special programs to help our stroke and brain injury patients regain coordination and activity in limbs.
  • State-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment for cardiac patients – including specialized cholesterol and glucose monitoring systems, recumbent bicycles, and ECG (electrocardiogram) recorders for patients recovering from various forms of heart disease or related surgery.
  • Specially designed equipment for patients undergoing musculoskeletal rehabilitation - such as body suspension systems that speed patient recovery by allowing patients to walk, run and climb while avoiding the pain often associated with these activities.
  • Equipment for patients who have suffered a spinal cord injury – including weight lifting equipment, such as leg extension, hamstring, and inner/outer thigh machines, used for strengthening legs.
  • Specialized equipment for patients undergoing complex continuing care – such as dynamic shower chairs to promote a patient’s ability to shower independently and pressure reduction mattresses to provide therapeutic relief and comfort.

Please give the Gift of Hope in support of patient equipment.
